I know a few people who are losing weight and planning on becoming Personal Trainers, I myself am looking into becoming a dietitian/counselor.
From my perspective, people who struggle through and do lose weight are either have a really good understanding of the issues and problems that overweight people face, orrrr... they're very heartless. I know a guy like that, only one and luckily he's becoming a welder.
Does your weight loss play a part in your career ideas?

When I get close to my goal weight, I intend to apply to become a Weight Watchers leader, so that I can help others do what I've done. For now, though, I still need a lot of help myself. wink But, hey, progress report:
Heaviest weight: 240 pounds Current weight: 203.5 pounds
Yes, it's a lot, but still, I'm down 36.5 pounds, and I think that's worth celebrating.

Hey Divash, you're almost the same as me! I started around 230-240 (I had stopped checking) and now I'm down to around 203. ^_^
Sometimes we learn by teaching, and so perhaps motivating others can be your ultimate motivation to keep your weight the way it is when you get to your goal weight.
