I think having the name Yu-Gi-Oh is not right.The shows dont even show yugi or the pharoah any more.That stinks. I protest against the name since they dont even show the millnuim iteams or yugi! They show that Jaden person.They dont even shoe Kibia or Pegasis.

What a dumb thread; the show was called Yugioh because the name means Game King. It was about Yugi mostly proving himself to be the best at all sorts of games, back before the show was based on a card game for kids. The name does not need to change because each season and even spin-off shows a protagonist who fits the description 'Game King'.

Japanese lesson, anyone? "Yu-Gi-Oh" in Japanese is written "遊戯王." The first two characters "遊戯" [Yugi] means "game" and the third one "王" [Oh] means "king." So, as stated above, "Yu-Gi-Oh" means "Game King" or "King of Games."
