does any one know where to get really good or cute downloadable brushes?
like for backgrounds or just prints?

Aethereality.net has some cute brushes.
There was this other website, but I forgot the name.
I think it's affiliates with Aethereality though, so you can check. (:

edit; heads-up though, it's mainly for photoshop.
it's http://celestial-star.net/ that has psp brushes too :D
