Well I'm back from the two day event. Over 280 qualified players duelled, along with others who turned up to trade and take part in the side events. 11 rounds of swiss followed by a top 8 I believe, I left before the finals. I would estimate that atleast 220 of the 280 decks were Lightsworn/Twilight, aswell as Blackwing, which I ran unsuccessfully thanks to bad draws, Glads and Monarch.
This was UDI's final yugioh tournament and i was dissappointed with the fact I lost 4-0 before dropping, due to drawing spells/traps around 5 in my opening hand with 4 more on top. The side events advertised were altered, so instead of a variety there were only win a box and structure deck, though the only structure deck was the Dinosaur one.
