I've decided to convert a Leman Russ into a Thunderer siege tank from my Baneblade demolisher cannon and some other bits and bobs.

Definitely a nice conversion, Brookman. The plasticard to fill in the turret hole looks a little rough, and the top of the demolisher cannon looks like it's jutting out a bit, but it looks good otherwise.

I've tried to smooth the ring down but in the end I just went with it, the plastic was being very stubborn. In regards to the main gun, it's as filed down and cut down as possible, so yeah it sticks out a bit at the top and bottom sadly.

Hurr hurr, I do approve this build! wink

The plasticard work is something that draws my eyes away from the rest of the tank, but I know myself it's hard to get it right... But once it's painted I'm sure it won't be pointing out that much.

Slap on some tracks to it already and get it rollin'! ninja

I save the tracks for last, they're a bit fiddly to drybrush when the rest of the tank is all done already.

I should have the bulk of it painted by the end of the week, I just need to get the hang of this spraygun and the proper mixture for it.

Yeah, talk about luck. I've still got some bits and bobs left from Vikki mk. I, like those massive fuel tanks and all those tracks. Hopefully they will come in handy later.

If you ever run low on tracks, give me a ring; I've got a whole bunch spare for some reason or another.

My boy, I have twelve spare sprues of them and thanks to the trackguards I'm always left with more than enough spare parts.

I always save the tracks for last when assembling, it's easier to paint tanks without the tracks first, saves a lot of hassle.

The fuel tanks could come in handy should you decide to make a custom Bane Wolf or Devildog.

Maybe where I come from is just more honest, but heh, I really do not like how you've just stuck the cannon on.

From the side shot it looks good, but when you see it head on..

Why not build up the sides with plasticard for more bulk?
That way you'll also be able to make it look better supported.
