OpenCanvas Help!

Hello I already download the opencanvas 1.1 I have a scanner and I try to scan it. When I open the opencanvas and go to file and open... I dont see any scan images.
Can someone tell me whats wrong? Do I need to convert the image first? then what? is it .gif? .bmp?

Did you save the scan as anything? You can only open saved images...

I'm not sure OC1.1 has a native import picture from scanner function D:... usually programs will say something like "import from ___ source" if it's hooked up to a scanner.

Also try saving as a high resolution .jpg, or if possible, it also accepts .bmpI think
