So... My mom got ripped off. She paid $8 for a inch and a half long clown loach who's amazingly thin at Pet Co. (I paid $8.50 for a "medium" loach double his size at PetsMart.) Oh, and he had ich. yeah. Now everything else has ich too. My mom started treating for ich the day after she bought him so he seems to be recovering pretty well. Any suggestions for bulking him up? Basically I just need him big enough to eat small snails, 'cause once he can eat them, he's got a bountiful food supply. My mom puts in blood worms every day, but between dozens of erm... "free swimming" fish and 7 Cories and a full-sized Chinese algae eater I'm not sure he's going to get much.

Hmmm....maybe just buy him special treats like live food.....those usually do the trick
sorry about petco ripping you off.....I bought 2 rams from them at differant times, and my second one only lasted 3 days, then died....my first one is still doing great though

I've got some REALLY agressive fish (when it comes to food) so I don't think live will work... [plus sea monkeys are my friends crying]
Well, the weirdest thing is that I just bought 5 neons for $5 and they're all fine... same with the little gobies I got. eek I've NEVER had all the neons live... then again, they aren't in the main tank yet, they're just in a isolation tank.
