I just got the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator: World Championship 2009, apparently before its release date? o_O
Well, so far, nothing special in-game, except for the fact that you have a turbo deck and can play speed duels, but I was expecting that.
EDIT:
If anyone is going to get the Japanese version like I did, bear in mind that it'll be OCG, so no Charge of the Light Brigade, Magical Exemplar, etc.

I saw that on Gamestop. It should be pretty interesting. Worth buying it.

Not really. What I did find annoying is that a lot of your early opponents have godly decks compared to yours (For example: Counter fairy, super-annoying stall/deck-out, etc...), and farming DP is harder than in WC08 because they took out the "continuous victory bonus."

Pretty okay, nothing much to say. Like in WC08, you unlock more and more hair, costumes and duel disks as you play.

I'm betting Charge, Ehren and the rest won't be in the American version. They wouldn't make the game have two different card pools.

Nope, you customize your duel runner by buying parts from the shop, which cost DP... Which sucks... You don't really use it much anyways. I've already beaten the story mode and I only used my duel runner like three times.

Dr Iceic hows the dueling on the Duel-Runner?
It's alright. Slow though, since you can't use spells whenever you want.
Exotahu Is there any way to do it after the storyline is beaten?
That's what I'm trying to find out.
