hey all u asians i just joined so im not sure if anything like this has been posted yet but if there is im sorry .... yea but heres the question.....
ok im an asain and i speak cantonese but then my parents also speak that and then theres mandarin ....... they watch news and all that crap and read newspapers and i feel left out....have you ever beeen feeling left out in that sort of way that your parents can speak and read another language you cant understand and feel so annoyed and embarrased about it??? confused cry mad gonk gonk rolleyes rolleyes

Not really.. for me, it would kindda be my parents.. I mean my parents and I are all Canto.. but we can all speak Mando too.. And I also speak eng.. my dad doesn't.. and my mom only knows a bit.. so..?

I sometimes feel left out with my korean friends because my korean is so basic but I'm glad I understand most of it.

not really, i can understand my parents just cant fully respond back but when some of my hmong friends talk to each other in front off me its awkward and makes me feel left out and alone
