Have you ever been mistaken for something other than your race.
Ex. Your Japanese but they say you're Thai.

Hawaiian

Indian
Polynesian
Filipino

I think I mistaken because I have almond eyes.
My skin is darker than most Asians.
My hair isn't silky and straight.
My language is different from most Asian languages.

I'm actually two minorities of Vietnam.
Rhade and Jrai.
Are people are Montagnard Degar a.k.a Mountain People.
Are ancestors are like Filipino,Polynesian, Indonesian, and Malaysian.

People think that I'm Filipino, but I'm actually Viet. They think that I'm Filipino cuz I have the color tone of a Filipino. I changed my hair to look like a viet person, it kinda worked out. Still a bunch of ppl call me Filipino. confused

People usually can guess I'm Chinese.. But when they read my name off the roll or something, they think I'm Viet, or even once, European. o____o;

I've had people ask if I'm Chinese, Filipino, Native American, Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese.

I have found one lone person that got it correct and said Japanese...

Okay, so I'm half Japanese half white mutt....but they can usually tell I'm....something...but in 18 years....only that one person got it.

It's really annoying when a Native American asks what tribe I'm from.....and when it's an Asian that starts asking me....though it is funny when people start asking/telling me things in a different language...
