Well, maybe because I'm Asian, I've started learning multiple asian languages. Mainly Japanese and Chinese. I take Chinese as a class, and self study japanese. The thing is, in the end I spend a lot more time on Japanese despite the fact it's without a class or anything, because it's a lot more fun to learn.
So I had my Chinese midterm (big stuff here!) recently. I knew it'd happen one day.
I spoke Japanese by accident on the speaking part, and could only remember the vocabulary in japanese for the written part. Let's just say my grade wasn't good, at all. Let's say it'll be like a C-? oh fudge. And just barely that too.
And now I'm making myself feel better by listening to (japanese) videogame sound effects on repeat. Funny how that works.
