I've also tried Joystick: A Gay Gamers Guild... Anybody? Anything? I am hating the lack of response.

I don't know anything about the guilds in question, but there's a website outside Gaia that's more or less along the same idea - gaygamer.net
I think there might be a forum on it, but I'm not entirely sure - hope it's helpful in some way, anywho, and good luck on getting feedback from the applications.

I've been to that site a few times. Each time I go though, feel a bit... Well, upset. It seems at times more about pushing a product, and lets face it, the site is really hard to navigate at times x.x Too many redirects! ><
Not meant to offend the makers. x.x
