Sophiel is a gentle, kind slime. She is the most mature and nurturing of the slimes here at the conservatory, and the other slimes look to her for guidance. She, in turn, worries and bounces around them like a little worried mother. It's pretty safe to say that Sophiel is the glue that holds the family together.

When she isn't watching over the other slimes or talking with Konami or Thanatos, she practices singing. She's not the best silky singer out there, but she can hold a tune. Sophiel also adores watching daytime dramas and soap operas, but she's worried that the younger slime that watches with her takes the fiction to heart a tad too much.

Thanatos is a very sad slime. No one knows quite why he's so depressed, since he gets everything he could ask for at the conservatory. He's quite negative, really. He's mostly quiet, keeping to himself.

Sophiel firmly believes that Thanatos just needs someone to show him the good in the world and in slimekind, but as of yet, he scares away any potential friends with his sarcasm and pessimism. She worries for him despite all this, and Thanatos appreciates it -- thus, the elder Sophiel is the one slime that he feels comfortable calling "friend."

Still, he's a pretty lonely little guy, although he won't admit it. And sometimes he just wishes he could enjoy life and others as much as the rest.

Ai is one of the younger slimes, and always has her head in the clouds. Thanks to reading too many romance novels and watching soap operas with Sophiel, Ai has a craving for dramatic romance. Any handsome slime makes her giggle and blush. She longs to be swept away by the perfect male slime.

Thanatos, incidentally, thinks she's stupid. Ai thinks Thanatos is a gloomy jerk.

When she isn't sighing and swooning in the mirror, Ai likes to listen to the latest boybands on her boombox, hang out with her friends, and gossip with her fellow girl slimes about who is cute and who could stand an accesory or two.

Milton, to put it plainly, is a big geek. When he isn't hopping around Konami's books and reading, he's hopping around on Konami's computer keyboard. It's hard work using human sized stuff! But if he can find accurate transcripts of Star Trek: Voyager and debate about comics, he considers it worth it.

This little orange slime has spent SO much time reading and staring at the computer screen that his eyes have gone bad. Konami has carefully constructed tiny glasses for Milton to wear so he doesn't bump into things.

Milton is almost as socially deprived as Thanatos -- the only difference is, Milton would love to be popular and cool like Ai.

Aedra is the most special slime in the conservatory...or, so SHE thinks, anyway. Not everyone agrees with her. But whatever the case may be, this shiny little slime IS beautiful.

Aedra is one of three triplet moon goddesses. Despite the fact that she's identical to the other two, she considers herself to be the most important and popular. The fact that Ai looks up to her so much and Milton is a lovesick puppy for her helps this belief.

When she isn't adoring herself in the mirror or making overdramatic entrances, Aedra likes to hang out in places where she KNOWS she'll be seen.
