Liberty was sitting in the house, fiddling with her guitar. Her mother stood in the doorway, watching her daughter with bags under her eyes. "Libby, you aren't supposed to play," she whispered. "Its not supposed to happen." Libby sighed, setting the instrument aside, "Sorry mom," she murmured, imagining the secretary job she was required to acquire so she could meet her rich husband. She grimaced, "What is it?" "You're leaving the City today, visiting your grandmother." Her mother stepped back, "Its time to go." Liberty grabbed her guitar and ran out the door, snagging her ID card off the counter. "Bye!" she called out to her mother as she raced out the door and down the street towards the exit.

Liberty quickly went into the home for the older people. She slipped into the room that her grandmother was contained in. The old woman was happy to see her, and her eyes went immediately to the guitar strapped onto Liberty's back. A quick click of the tongue, "What would your mother say?" she said, but smiled anyways. Liberty grinned, then imitated her mother's voice, "Libby, you aren't supposed to play!" The grandmother tossed her head back and laughed. Liberty sat down across from her grandmother, "Can you keep it here?" The grandmother nodded, "You do know that I was chosen to be a musician, it would be normal for me to keep a guitar... for sentimental value of course, my fingers are too old for me to play," the woman's eyes sparkled. Liberty smiled, "Thanks Granny,"
