what is with horror movies now? i used to be interested in them and they could keep my attention. but now i don't even have to think about if they scared me or not... they just aren't fun to watch.. its like a waste of time anymore. does any one know of any good horror movies that will really play with some ones head for even a minute? just wanted to know. thanks guys

yea ive seen the both of the blair witch projects. i just got done watching house of 1000 corpses and im watching the devils rejects.. but they're more funny than scary! so yea..

May was good. Not particularly scary, but good.

All in all, I was impressed by May. The tonal shift part-way through the film was abrupt and mostly unnecessary, but the character of May was a fantastic and realistic psychopath. Her behaviors and motivations were believable, and her story is told through a respectful lens of tragedy.

Im getting Razorblade Romance for Christmas off a friend but I've never seen it nor had I heard of it until my boyfriend told me Im getting it. (Edit, sorry it's switchblade romance, my mistake.)

I want to watch Ichi the Killer. I (well my boyfriend) has it on DVD but Ive never got round to watching it.

I wouldn't call it a horror but The Orphanage has one or two really jumpy bits and is relatively creepy.

Saw films are the obvious.

I've never really been scared by a film, I watched Candy man when I was a toddler, I have two older brothers who are mad into horror so Ive been brought up with it.

It's worth seeing at least once, but it has pretty thin replayability. Miike is a pretty weak director- imagine Tarantino, but without the smart homages to older film trends.

If you can find it, try "The Audition". It's a japanese horror film. Towards the end it's rather graphic at points, but generally it involves what happens when a girl wants this man to Love her and ONLY her....

I watched it last night. It was pretty sick but over the top sick to the point you know it's fake.

I got confused at first because the blonde guy was on the cover so I spent the first 45 minutes thinking he was Ichi.
