So, Chinese characters are used for names in China (duuur), Japan (well most of the time) and Korea. And Taiwan, but they speak Chinese there so it doesn't really count. Since I'm part Chinese/Taiwanese, I have a Chinese name, and I decided to go see how the characters are pronounced in Chinese/Korean.
(not putting my last name so people can't stalk me)
Chinese: ya ting
Korean: a jeong
Japanese: ga chou (or miyabi, if you only use the first character)
Pretty nifty how you can use the same characters in those different countries. If anyone else has a Chinese/Japanese/Korean name, what else can it be pronounced as?
