The Fire Goes Out

The sun was setting over the forest. The sky the color of a raging flame.

The fire begins to dim

The cats of clan gathered outside their leaders den. Watching. Waiting in solemn silence.

Firestar, the greatest Leader to have ever lead the clan lay in his nest. Dreaming...Drifting...

Dying.

Sandstorm sat by her mates’ side, as she had done for the many long seasons of their lives. And she looked on him with smiling eyes, clouded with age. She would miss him, but she knew it was time for him to rejoin their warrior ancestors

And the flames flickered

With glazed eyes the leader of ThunderClan gazed into nothingness. Seeing things no other cat could see. Watching the cats surrounding him. The Cats with stars in their fur.
He sighed, closed his eyes, and quietly, gently, the fire that saved the Clan…

Went out.

That's pretty cool. But i have a question..... what did he die from? Old age? A warrior's blow? WHAT DID HE DIE FROM????????

I'm well practiced in short stories cause I'm completely incapable of carrying a plot more than a few chapters. I'm actually more of a poetry/art person so it's always nice to hear that people enjoy what I write. Thanks again
