One of APG's great Mods here, Maylinn!....Or Huong...!
I'm planning on taking a trip to study abroad in Korea, Seoul area (Kyung Hee University). I have an acquaintance who had gone to Seoul last summer for a vacation, a very short one. She told me that Korea has MUCH cheaper merchandise than Japan, and that everywhere is SO clean! So I'm turning to the very large community here in the APG for some insight, what better place to ask? I'm looking for information from locals or people who know Seoul area more intimately than generic tour guide books. Tell me where I can eat the best quality and variety of street vendor foods! Maybe where the hottest local shopping (clothing...Or food. (: ) is. Music/Video stores? Movie theatres? Anything! Sights that HAS to be seen, food that HAS to be tasted, things that are MUST buy when in Korea. Let me know them all!
I mentioned food several times....I'll try almost anything besides : Pig stomach and intestines. << From the pig. I love heart and liver. (:

Oh wow you're so lucky! I was born in Seoul, Korea but I haven't been back in a really long time. My advice is probably very outdated so I guess I won't say that much. I hope you go and experience it yourself. Even if everyone else likes Seoul you won't know unless you live there personally. It sounds as if you're pretty convinced already though. It's good to have knowledge of your surroundings ^_^ so I wish you good luck especially if it doesn't work out. At the very least you won't have regrets about not going. xd

Thank you. (: I'll take your out-dated advice than no advice at all. How about landmarks to see? If I don't make it in the near future, I plan on visiting Korea anyways. whee

Now that I look back I wasn't very interested in landmarks. I was really a bratty kid whee Though I do remember going to festivals here and there. Those were fun even when I was a little kid and now. So when you hear about one and you aren't drowning in work go because there is plenty of food. Some have lots of food and others have lots of parades and dance preformances. Just make sure you know what's going to happen before going 3nodding And if there's anything you want to see naturally get there in time. Err I got to go I seem to have been disracted by the time. Maybe I'll write something more useful later sweatdrop
