He ran, fast as his twelve year old legs could carey him. He had just escaped, his infant sister rapped up tight in his arms. He wanted to keep her, to love her, take care of her, but that would never be possible. After running for what seemed like forever, he came across a house. His illness, he relised, was making him to weak. He gentally placed his sister on the porch. "Good bye, Mina." He coughed a couple of times, then stumbled into the forest, never to be seen again.

Story

It's been 13 years since Mina was left on the porch by her brother. But, she never knew it was her brother who had left her, she always thought it was her parent, or someone like that. Nor did she know anything about where she came from, or who her family was. But, one day she finds a strange pendent while she's out playing in the forest. It's symbles puzzle her, but, she feels oddly connected to them, too. Now all she wants is to find out where she came from, why she's there, and what her whole life is ment for.

You all know the rules, right? Good, then I won't have to write them again. But, just because I simpley cannot leave you with out atleast one rule, I shall make one.

1. There are only three people connected to Mina's past. Once those are taken, we shall start.

Bio: She's lived with Mr. and Mrs. Prink for ever, though she knows she is not their daughter. One day, while playing in the forest around her house, she found a strange pendent. Now all she wants to know is, well, everthing about it.

Mina peired under the bushes around her house. She had thought she'd seen a finch hop under one of them, but she must have been mistaken. Just as she was about to get up and go inside for lunch, she saw something shiney. She reached and was just able to get it. When she pulled it out, all she could tell was that it must have been an old pendent. It had dirt crusted on it, not to mention what else. She put it in her pocket, then went in.

~A few hours later~

Mina withdrew the pendent from a pocket. She held it under the fosset in the bathroom upstairs, cleaning away years of dirt. Within minutes, it actually looked pretty good. She dried it off, then examined it. It had odd markings on it, markings that resembled feathers of some kind, which looped around the outer edge like a reath. In the center, Mina saw, was a lilly. Mina thought this odd, for when a flower was incripted, it was usualy a rose or some other royal type flower. Mina flipped it over, and on the back she could just make out fancy writting. It read "La Fae." That's all it said. Mina was utterly puzzled. What on cloud nine did "La Fae" mean?

Linda stood at the bottom of the stairs. "Mina, do you want to help me make a cake?"

Blake poked his head around the corner, "Cake?"

"No, Honey, its for tomorrow." Linda smiled and whispered. "Its Mina's birthday, remember?"

"Right..." Blake disappeared.

She hastily placed the pendent in one of her drawers under her clothes and ran down stairs.
