Axis Powers Hetalia is a manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya which takes countries and turns them into adorable characters, most of them male. While the main plot focuses around WWI and WWII, there are also sidestories that involve other historical events such as the American Revolution and the War of Austrian Succession.

I've gotten another person into Hetalia btw. It's all I ever talk about now (literally), so it's no surprise that everyone I talk to slowly transforms into a Hetalia fan. xD

I'm gonna need to make a new photobucket account soon 'cause my Hetalia pictures take up too much space *only has 1% space left on her photobucket account*

Me and one of my friends are debating on who would win a fight (slappy fight maybe. xD), N. Italy or Poland? (with no help from Germany or Lithuania) I keep saying Poland would win 'cause N. Italy would automatically forfeit.

I ended up showing the guild bucket's Hetalia folder, and the scanlations of the first chapter, to my mom.. she was amused.. xd

I think like 40% of the guild bucket is Hetalia. >_> Oopsy.

I'd say Poland. N. Italy doesn't seem capable of realizing he's in a fight.. but then again, there's the thing with Poland vs. Sweden where Poland hid behind Liet.. so I think they'd just agree to a truce. XD

My country didn't even show up until the most recent chapters/pages/whatevers. At least there's a lot of fanart of him though.

Hetalia was pretty acurate on both America and Canada ('cause that's how I always pictured it. America being loud, outgoing, cheeseburger-lovin', "I must act like a hero!"in'. Canada being in the background... being forgotten. xD)

Poor Matthew wasn't very good at baseball. DON'T WORRY MATTHEW, THERE'S ALWAYS HOCKEY! xD

Haha. The really great thing about the fandom, I think, is that everybody seems to be nice, or at least have a great sense of humour. I mean, how else would they be able to happily read Hetalia without going "wtf is this hellishly mangled version of world history?" XD It's so fun. And there are great artists, of course, but the fun is awesome.
Like, when I said how bad a patriot I felt for wanting this icon like burning, the icon maker joked that they could make me one with UK-tan in front of the Irish flag instead. :'D It was such a suggestion, I think we both got a good laugh out of it.

I want to see those phone dangler whotsits so very badly, though. I hope the anime is a hit, and they show up even at the London MCM Expo. I'd probably end up buying a stupidly huge number of them, though. XDD But most of the characters are awesome, how could I not want one of those mobile phone thingies of them?
Oh, right, I suppose this should explain it: Hetalia stuff.
The pasta mix is strange, though. O.o

Hoy! Anyone think I should go off and design an Ireland-tan and a N.I.-tan? Well, really, I'm so serious about drawing pathetic little comics to explain the confused mess of Irish history, I took a look at the section in the library, but there are too many books. x.x And I want something with just the events, and no personal bias/commentary mixed in, gah. Like my actual history book. Just the facts, damn it!
