Maybe you can have readers tell about there experience on hearing the song on the radio for the first time or buying it at the store.I was 9 years old when I first heard it on a San Francisco radio station KFRC for the first time and later the clip on the Smothers Brothers comedy show on CBS in 1968. I remember only 2 things that struck me and that was John Lennon looking scary with his real long hair and that the audience that got up and joined the Beatles with the NA-NA-NA-NA's at the end.

My sister gave me $1.00 to go buy it at our local dime store,and she told me,"If they don't have Hey Jude,then get me Revolution." She lucked out considering that was the flip side of Hey Jude. The single cost back in '68 only 98 cents and I got to keep the change!!
