Welcome to the sign up for the Second Ex World Grand Prix and the ultimate test of speed on the Extreme Gear.
We would like to thank the Mayor of Mobius for his large donation to this contest to pay for the running of it and Entrance Fees for all racers who wish to join (and the health care that will be provided to racers but also the refreshments for them and the fan)

Rules:
You can only enter up 2 characters
You can not use any I repeat NO Sonic characters (they will be racing but I want a more creative set of characters and competition is needed for them after all(they will be racing with you))
Character restrictions are 1 professional ranked racer and 1 novice per person (read the rules to see restrictions to novice and professional)BUT the exception to this rule is if a character gets UPGRADED by me to Professional which I will tell you what to do. If someone does this without me telling them to they are Eliminated from the contest and banned from My Extreme Gear RP forums
Limit On Robots
Your only allowed to show 1 picture for each character and that is on the sign up post only
There will be in between races time for RPing expending how the characters get along and just idle chit chat (Do not control the NPC controlled characters on the list unless you send me a copy of what you want to post on with them and I allow it (failure to do so will mean they might act a negative way to you or worst(just think of what Jet and Friends did to Sonic's gear in the finals last time!)
You will not be able to place things on another persons gear(so no bombs nothing to slow them down ect...) and you will not get this unless you break the controlling NPC rule(you have been warned) but you can not upgrade your own gear (standard boards skates and bikes are used)
Courses will affect stats
Make sure your gear does not lower anything that has 1 stat in it as it would make you character likely to crash (read other information to find out more) and a crashed character will lose a lot of time getting back on his gear
Skills are split up like this:
Acceleration: How fast you get to your top speed
Top Speed: How fast your top speed is
Handling skills:This is mostly how well you can do tricks and land after being hit
Corning: How well you go around corners a low skill will slow you down as you go through one and average skill will allow you to maintain the speed and a max skill will allow you to increase speed slightly for a short time as you leave the corner
You will need to pick if your character is:
Speed: Able to grind on rails and tend to have their acceleration stats working better due to the speed they love to travel at
Flight: Able to fly for a short time and use the rings in the air to accelerate also their handling skills tend to work better due to keeping their extreme gear on them when flying
Power: They can break through a brick wall if they want just for a shortcut and they have increased skill at corning skills due to balanced at breaking through stuff while moving at high speeds
Stats are all out of 5:
1/5 is Weak
2/5 is Poor
3/5 is Ok
4/5 is Fairly Good
5/5 is Great
A Professional can have up to 15 stats to use
A Novice can have up to 10 stats
Each of your skills must have at least 1 stat in it
Your handling skill affects your how well you can do tricks
You can create your own character's special moves that will be given Ratings depending on your handling (I will tell you what you will be allowed based on your handling and if your a Professional character or a novice just leave a blank gap for rating of the trick)
Your custom tricks must be named and there is a limit to 3 tricks per professional and 1 limit to novices. You will need to pick which is your best and which is your worst as a professional as your best will get a higher trick rating and your worst will get one slightly lower.(These will be higher than your trick mastery or able to add to a trick to your combo if your trick mastery is really high)
Tricks are rated from X to C from highest to lowest is:
X - SS - S - AA - A - BB - B - C (C is a fail or bad landing on a trick attempt)
Sign up requires:
Character Name
Character Age (no restrictions within reason)
Type (as in speed flight or power (you can only be one no splitting no percentages))
Gear kind(all stats improvements are similar and each person will have the same improvements(gear type is slight hidden boost))
Skates sad these give a slight boost to acceleration and top speed but lower handling skills and cornering)Board sad No increase or decrease to stats)Bikes sad Decrease to acceleration and top speed but an increase to handling skill and cornering)
Skill level sad Professional or Novice(feel free to add something to it but nothing rude and I might have to ask you to edit it if I do not think it is suitable(limited to 1 extra word added onto it))
Stats sad Acceleration top speed handling skills and cornering(out of 5 read above for more details)
Trick Mastery level sad You must include this but until I tell you what to edit it to leave it blank(I will tell you based on gear type and stats but there is still a limit to how high it can go even with skates))
Personal Tricks sad Name them and say which is the best which is worst if your a professional (you should have the limit of them that your skill level allows as they are better than pulling of normal tricks but are limited to times/places you can use)
Your allowed to add a bit of a background to your character including living location (Mobius places or Earth places are allowed) A small history of achievements for your racer (a Novice can not have anything but street racing of some kind and a professional should have a more experienced past but you can not have got past round 2 of the first Ex World Grand Prix as the 3rd round was the finals it which only Sonic Tails Knuckles and Jet got to(if your unsure do not include (or ask me with a message)) feel free to include family (direct family only unless the person lives with them)
A picture or description is a nice addition but is optional
This will be a knockout competition which also allows late entrances and losing puts you into a play off which (after further knocking out) can still get you a place in the finals!
Course will be described before each race and important things might be information will be posted (so if your character can not swim like Sonic you might need to wear a life jacket)
The attacks are to follow a default style which will have a few kinds of moves and will be based on stats gears and type to how successful you do with them (this applies to the attacker and one being attacked if it is equal a luck or chance roll will be used to decide the outcome)
A character list will be posted after this and edited to show how well the character is doing who is the "controller" of that character (and maybe even if they are injured or not depending on crashing and attacks but this is likely to only be small injuries and if it is added it could mean a slight lowering of stats (do not worry they will heal before the finals if they get any and it will not be for a full race if they get one(so if you get one it will last 1 lap at the most)))
Have fun (My characters have already got trick stats and it will work fairly to allow characters to all have a chance and please do not copy someone else's character edit the stats a bit or maybe change the gear kind and type)
In the contest the air system of Extreme Gears are used meaning running out of air makes you run (lowering stats) tricks will refill it but also taking shortcuts does. To refill your air when running you can stop at a pit (which will delay you OR you can do a trick at the next ramp but you will not score as highly as you normally would meaning you get less air)
Boosting will use up more air and multiply your acceleration(when doing the boost) and for a short time raise your top speed above its limit)
(Boosting is based on your current acceleration and top speed to how they change)
You start with 100 air and how fast it goes down depends on the course tricks increase it so does using your type shortcut(rails breaking through stuff or flight rings) this is due to the movements of the board when breaking through things or the air refill tanks in the rails or the air rushing into the gear when it is in the air moving fast enough.
