Their Life: She was turned when a hungry vampire found her, turning her, after she was strong enough she killed him. Going back to her family's graves after the fire and saw their ghosts, and has been able to see or feel auras of others ever since.

He found Amelia standing over the one who changed her, covered in blood and weak, he's been her companion ever since.
