It does!It is pretty awesome I think biggrin . I remember reading ranma 1/2(my first manga ever) and it just seemed to flow like a movie in my head.I never saw the anime till I was a bit older and well it was okay but not as good as when I read it.Heh I even could recite the whole manga in my head and fall asleep like that, strange I know but hey ya know! blaugh

it depends on the series...sometimes the manga is way better while an equal number of times i find the anime better

I generally tend to veer towards manga. And if I wind up liking the story pretty well, I may be inspired to look into the anime, if one exists. 3nodding

I'm really picky about anime but there are some that I would prefer to manga. Still... some animes are better than the manga while some manga are better than the anime, so that's a tough choice for me o_o'

I prefer manga, because it's what the author wants it to be like, instead of the studio messing it up. It feels more..... authentic, I guess

yeah, some anime's have better manga then others. Like Peach Girl, the animation sucks but the manga is really good

Anime is fine but I prefer manga. It gets to me better than anime and there isn't the whole disappointment with the voices and all that.

Used to be a fan, then I learned about Animation and Cartooning... And now I'm pissed, every time I see the an anime program, and they pan, they use stills, and they do everything BUT animate... The quality is so low I just can't stand it....

And they have no excuse. It's not about budget, but laziness.

Besides, just like American Cartoons, they are all the same. Ocassionally, we get a Steam Boy or Princess Mononoke. But usually we get that same story about the guy with super hidden powers who is also kinda naive and awkward but a nice guy. Or the guy who keeps accidentally walking in on girls, or falling on them, and getting hit in the face.....

Besides, Disney's Princesses are a lot sexier than anything I've ever seen in Sailor Moon.

i like both

but since reading manga feels in my head like watching tv

i like manga better since i can make up my own voices

a also like reading unpicturebooks

i have a very active imagination so when i read books i can see a picture
and when i read a manga the scenes flow like a movie
