Gifted X Gifted

I tried to do this rp awhile ago but the person wasn't really into it. So I'm trying this again. First off, I'm looking for someone Semi-literate which means some one he knows how to type actually sentences. I will confess occasionally I do one liners but I try to avoid them.

I don't care if my partner is a boy or a girl so long as they play the boy. I will play the girl (Obviously). Pm me if you're interested.

plot:
Basically, a guy and a girl meet at the gifted school. They fight at first but then they start to get along and then eventually fall in love.

The storm was getting heavier. The rain seemed to pierce Ember's skin. It burned. Ember ran toward the building with her bag over her head. She opened the door and slammed it shut. "I hate the rain." She sighed. Ember looked at her arms. Wet spots were everywhere. Steam seemed to rise as she stood their. Fire was her element. That was her gift and it was her curse. Her curse that killed her parents and did nothing good. Quickly, she took out a shirt out of her bag and tried to dry herself off. The quicker her body was dry the better. Each drop of water felt like it was melting her skin off. After all water and fire never did mix. Especially, with her body. She used the heat from her hands to dry her hair. The rain began to pour even harder outside. "At least I wasn't in that." She said to herself. "Whoever invented rain needs to die."

Race: Human Dark Magic and Summoning
Appearance: Have not drawn yet...
Bio: Lance had no idea of his powers or potential during the years of his life. He spent his childhood as a good kid who didn't have many friends, he was loved by his mother and father and he adored his pets. Lance had been born with the ability of doing nearly anything he wished, but he didn't know he had them. Lance hadn't found out he had powers until a particular day in his 12 grade class where he had fallen asleep, and had awaken to the most gruesome sight he had ever witnessed, to see his class mates malled and severed to a near unrecognizable state. He had been arrested and studies had been conducted on him so the government would better understand his powers, but Lance managed to escape the studies, retreating back to his neighborhood, where decided then he would never jeopardies his families safety. He spent several weeks as a homeless person until the day he had been picked up by mysteries persons and escorted to Norristown: School for the Gifted, where he became a student there and learned to control his powers to a perfection. Lance had lived there for only several months till now.

«¤»

Lance had been walking the halls again, passing dorm students as he did so, ignoring their murmmering and whispers of him. He had always been gossiped about since he had come to live here, he had accidentally summoned manifestations in several halls and work study rooms, and the student and staff who had been caught in these incidents have all nearly been killed. It had been many months, but Lance can control his darkness now, but people still hate him for his unpredictable actions. He looked at several young girls and smiled at them. They returned his gesture with scowls, and one of them gave a stiff middle finger.

Lance ignored them, heading down the center marble staircase to the front foyer, spotting a girl who looked to be steaming, or had been smoking. Lance called to her. "Hey you! You arent supposed to be here."

Ember glared at the boy. "Says you." She spat. "If you haven't read the sign, it says school for the gifted." Ember picked up her bag and began to walk but stopped right in his face. "By the way, don't make me roast you." She continued walking until she found someone who looked like they could help. "Excuse me?" Ember asked one of the students. "But where is the headmaster's office?" The girl pointed and Ember thanked her.

"Come in." A voice said before Ember could even touch the door. She opened the door and walked in. "Ah, Miss Daniels I've been expecting you." Ember looked at her curiously. "Sit, please." She gestured. Ember sat down and waited. "Welcome to Norristown: School for the Gifted. But the students call it NSG for short." She smiled. "I'm Mrs. Fulton. I'm the principle here at NSG. Here's your schedule and room key along with the room number. There is only one dorm here. All the bedroom are upstairs and the classrooms are downstairs. Here is a book of all the rules. If you have any problems just come to me." Ember was about to ask a question but Mrs. Fulton answered her question for her. "I can see the future. So in other words yes I already know what you're about to say. Forgive me if I'm being rude."

"That's ok." Ember said for the first time. "May I go to my room now?" The principle nodded and Ember walked out and headed to her dorm. What a weird woman. She thought.

"She's not weird." A boy said to Ember. "None of us are." Ember glared at the little boy. He couldn't have been more than 12. Ember was 17 so she was much older than him.

"The next time you answer whatever it is I'm thinking when I'm not talking to you, I will burn you to a crisp." The boy put his hands up in defense and Ember started walking up the stairs. "This place will be just dandy compared to my life at home."

Lance tisked as he watched the girl stroll away from him while others gave him disapproving looks. He paid none of these people no mind as he decided to head over to the wreck quarters. He had no intentions of going there to watch television with others, nor was he going to play free arcade games or surf his art shop on Gaia Online. He was headed to the Large Artificial Nuerilizer, also called LAN, which is a stadium sized virtual room where environments were coded and simulated, everything from theme parks to beaches to World War II battlefields. Students and staff alike often used it to play Halo or games like EverQuest, using their own living bodies as players in the game.

However, Lance rarely came to this room to enjoy a scenery or to partake games. He came here to summon the darkness, the void of his powers. He has to summon it every so often to release tension from his body, however, other persons who are in the room with him would suffer unimaginable agony. Lance looked up to see a couple making out in the control booth. They spotted him below and gathered the clothing they left laying around, not wanting to stick around for Lance to vent.

He waited till the booth was empty before positioning himself to the center of the room, sitting cross legged. He closed his eyes and began to concentrate as the room darkened to total darkness. No light, nor the ground, nor anything else was visible now, as the screams and cries of tormented demons echo around him.

He is the most hated creature alive...

He... is Agony.

(O.O.....dude.....bravo.....*speechless*)

Ember threw her bag on the bed. She sat on the bed and began to look through all the papers she was given. Schedule.
1. Art
2. Math
3. History
4. Science
*Lunch*
5. English Lit
6. Training
7. Training

"Training." Ember said to herself. "For what?" She looked through the other papers and found a training room. "Train with your gift. Unlimited training room. Indestructible." She read aloud. Ember followed the map and walked in the training room. "Wow," As she walked in closer, lights began to flicker on.

"Computer on. State name." The computer said. Ember froze until it repeated it again.

"Um, Ember Daniels." She said.

"Full name." The computer said. Ember rolled her eyes.

"Elizabeth Jessica Daniels." The computer clicked and things began to pop up. Targets lined up in a row. A tingling began to form in her hand. Ember looked at her hands and then back at the target. "Right." She said to herself. Fire erupted from her hands. With all her might, she threw fire balls left and right. In a matter of minutes, each target was destroyed and smoking. A sudden memory flashed in her mind.

"Elizabeth, listen to us. We'll.....learn to cope." Her mother said.

"Learn to cope? You'll learn to cope?!" Ember said, her voice rising. Fire erupted out of her body. The house caught on fire. Ember tried to calm it down to save her parents but, no use. Their bodies burned with the rest of their belongings.

Again, her body erupted in flames. Her body was surrounded by blue flames as she screamed at the top of her lungs. Finally, her knees gave in and the tears began to fall. Silence. Not a word. Not sound. Not anything. Just tears.

[[If you think that last post was good… you should read ~*The Thrones of Roses*~… all the posts are highly descriptive, we take that rp very seriously. I describe the void in much more details there, read post# 13 on page 2… ]]

Lance had no idea how long he had been in his own darkness, but he had been released of its torture. He hadn’t been standing when he first entered it, but he had been now, backed into a corner with cold sweat trickling down his face. His body shook so fiercely, his vision obscured, and he slid to the grown to calm himself as his eyes dilated and adjusted to the bright LAN room. He waited a few minutes before the pressure and tension upon his body had leveled out, venturing one again into the hall. Several students passed him, given him looks of distaste as he glanced at them.

Paying them no mind at all, Lance wanted to heat to his room and grab hold of his PSP. He needed his trance music badly now, and a little Back and Vivaldi to calm his aching nerves. As he traveled, he had accidentally caught sight of the new girl as she headed down to the target room. For some odd reason, Lance felt compelled to follow her. He didn’t like her one bit, but knowing his enemies capabilities was always useful knowledge. He pursued her with stealth, not making a sound and he greatly reduced his breathing, slipping into the target room with her before the automated anti-bolt doors relocked themselves.

He stood a ways back from her as she took a moment to figure out what to do. He leaned against the wall behind her and watched as she began to flame, throwing fireballs about the targets, hitting each one with very good accuracy. Though, something about her bothered him, and he hadn’t understood it at first. She had fallen to her knees and began to silently weep, and for some reason, it pissed him off.

“Pathetic,” he taunted with anger in his tone. “******** pathetic… You just gonna sit there and cry for no reason? Poor you!”
PostPosted: Mon Jun 30, 2008 4:57 pm
Ember sat up quickly. She wiped her tears and glared at the boy. "Pathetic? I'm the one pathetic?! I'm not the one who had to follow someone out of boredom. You don't even know why I was crying. You weren't inside my head. You have no idea what I was thinking." Anger began to build inside of her. She could feel her fingers tingling. As she walked closer to him, her body began to react but she kept her voice at normal level to keep from burning every inch of his body.

"Why did you follow me anyway? Bored? In need of some sort of entertainment?" She looked him up and down and huffed. "And you call me pathetic." Ember walked out and passed several people who began to stare. But that didn't stop her. She noticed that the rain had stopped. Ember walked outside and sat under a tree. The wind began to pick up. Students around her said that there might be a storm coming. But she didn't care.

Lance was outraged to have her call him pathetic, after all, he wasn't the one crying. He had followed her throughout the school, shouting negativities at her as people and students just stared at them. Lance had followed her outside and found she had taken a seat before a large tree. He went coming to stand before her, his expression burning. "How dare you call me pathetic! You're the one who's boo-boo crying like a little wench. Am i supposed to feel sorry for you? What the problem then, huh? Your power's a little too much to handle? is that it? Mommy and daddy disown you? Oh boo-who!" He had shouted his retorts with a mixture of anger and sarcasm, but then she was right in a way, she was keeping him busy.
PostPosted: Wed Jul 02, 2008 7:44 am
Ember glared at him. What was this guy's problem? She stood up. Rage filled her body. Her fists were clenched tightly. "No my parents did not disown me. They wanted to but then they tried to take it back. And I got angry and burned the house down accidentally. I tried to stop it but it was too late. Everything was gone. Including my parents. So go on say it. I'm a murderer. That's why I was crying. Never in my whole life have I killed someone and yet this stupid gift took the only two people I ever loved away. So you want to make fun of me, go right ahead." She folded her arms and waited. Tears began to build in her eyes but she quickly wiped them away.

A moment had gone by before Lance spoke in a harsh and cold retort. "Your parents got fried, eh? Boo ******** hoo... At least they had the easy way out." Lance had thought about that. His parents had a much more horrid death, even still, he was sure that their voices were among the other hundred or so who's screams and cries of pain and suffering echo in the seeming-less end of the darkness which consumes him every so often.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 03, 2008 8:14 pm
"Easy way out? Easy way out? I had to watch them burn. Slowly. To death. I heard their screams. I felt their pain. And it was all because of me. There was no easy way out." Hot tears began to run down her cheeks. As they dripped down, steam rose from where they fell. The words he continued to tell her, pierced her heart like an arrow.

"Do you still hear them? Hear them as clear as if they were standing before you? The eerie ringing of a loving voice passing throughout your being with the sensation of crushing sorrow and misery? Does their suffering close down around you, making you feel isolated and claustrophobic? Cold and and weak? No?" Lance felt so damn heated about the girl's pathetic excuse for suffering. No one here in the school knew what real suffering was.
