But I've noticed that the majority of MCR fans are girls. I mean, I went to that MCR march in Ireland (whic was sadly called off the second time because of the lack of people ) and I saw only like, 2 guys.
Does anyone else think this, or is it just me? :S

I think it depends where you live. I live in Texas, and the last concert I went to had an almost even ratio of guys to girls. That being said, most of the guys in attendance did wear the skinny jeans, black hoodies, and very edgy haircuts... but I suppose that's to be expected.

Yeah I've noticed that too... I think I only know maybe two guys who like MCR, but I know a ton of girls who do.. I guess it all depends on the area though.

The concert I went to, there were old people like in their late 40's (but not much older) just sitting there with their wife/husbands singing along And some really young fans too, 9 or tenish in age.

I think girls show it off more, and guys who think they are so hardcore like to hate on them more. I mean, usually, I hear guys say they like the band, but more often I hear girls say they love the band. But that's not unexpected, they are a band of guys.
And I have seen many older people who like the band, too. Especially a lot of mothers...

I saw them live with my family because we LOVE the band. I'm 25, my best friend is 24, my cousin 18, my brother 10, and my mom 42. I don't care the age of people really...is pretty awesome when parents are open to rock music. I have two teenagers friends and they love the band but couldn't go to the concert because of their parents crying

mmmm well yes and no. There are many girls who like MCR but there are lots of guys too. :] When I saw them live there was this huge group of guys cheering like crazy for mcr wearing there shirts and everything! haha I started to hangbang with them during Im not okay too. :] And I agree with Kimarah. Its just girls and guys are a bit different when they approch bands. So when it comes to alot of guys saying they like MCR they might be embarresed or something. :/ But then there not really a true fan if they get embarressed. razz

well, i've noticed that girls tend to be more of those "devoted fans" that'd watch all the interviews, & buy everything of the band, from live DVDs to rare band merch. and guys would just be the type that like the music and would go out and buy the CDs and maybe some merch.
i guess it just depends on the band sometimes. for the more "mainstream pop-rock" bands that i'm a huge fan of, i noticed most of their fans are girls. and for the heavier not-so-well known bands, most of the fans are a bunch of 20 year old guys.
that's just my observation.
