Look at it people.
It doesn't add up.

The UK is getting SEVEN more songs than the US version of The Black Parade is Dead!

Discuss?

My guess is that somebody either A.) Didn't do the tracklisting right on the UK version. Honestly, what would the song "The Black Parade is Dead" be? (I'm curious on that one D=) or B.) It got changed, and we weren't told about.
It would cost a lot of money to have two different versions out. Why would two different versions be made anyway?

Damn, I want to be British now (or some subsequent form there of, or in another country/region/thingy like Scotland or Ireland which is nearby and quite pleasant)! You guys got A) Gerard twice on his birthday in London B) Cool Accents (sorry, random) C) this thing with TBPID!

A and B don't matter as much, sorry, I'm so scattered brained right now, but when a CD is released, sometimes there are different versions released in different places. It can make it fun, like MSI release of IF, the colors of IF in UK version are diff. then the US one, but I remeber something about being less censorship in UK then US! US has the two versions of the DVD, clean and Not! (guess which one I got! lol), but it's still anoying to know US is freakier about language then UK

Sorry if I'm wrong or too off topic, I don't have a good memory about censorship laws here and there...

Well i dont mind that tbh being English myself i wouldn't complain but i dont know. what differances are there? as in what songs are there? they did release "i dont love you" as a single here so it isn't odd to have a differant release. i think we may have had i slightly differant version of LOTMS tho i'm not sure. if it is i will have to make sure i order both copys.lol

that's not fair! there shoudn't be to different ones. i didn't oder mine yet though because i don't have enough money but i want the British one now too.

European CD's don't work on our crappy american DVD players

So before you waste 20$ (or so) take that into consideration.

Okay, next- there's a posting in my journal that states:

Ok, so I go to the US page for The Black Parade is Dead! and look at the tracklisting.
I'm like, "Okay, should be interesting..."

Then I go to their news page and see the BRITISH UK version tracklisting. THEY'RE GETTING LIKE SEVEN!, YES, SEVEN! EXTRA TRACKS THAN THE US IS GETTING!!!

That includes,
Two interludes
Two "The black parade is dead" songs (???)
an "untitled"
"Blood"
AND "This Jetset Life is Gonna Kill You"
why wouldn't they be the same?
SAME SHOW!!! hello?!

This is weird for MCR. you'd think they'd give those extras to the US citizens, you know...'cause they were BORN here? lol

I really hope it's a missprint.
I guess we'll find out on July 1!!!
*totally off topicish, but I'm kidnapping my friend and making her watch it with me lol*

to see their news page *you have to go to that tab...*
and open a new window, to the british version, and compare it to the US version.

The tracklisting for the UK version is http://www.mychemicalromance.co.uk/
and the US version is http://mychemicalromance.com/blackparadeisdead/

On the US version, you need to click the "View Tracklisting" button.

The two "The Black Parade Is Dad" "songs" are actually just Gerard talking. The "Untilted" is that "Stay" song. And the Interludes are just little things that they play during the longer water breaks.

im english and 'the black parade is dead' is just gerard talking to the crowd, the interludes are just james playing keyboard,...but they should've made them both the same,

I was so unbelievably glad when mine came in the mail, and it turned out to be the same as the UK version. I knew the guys couldn't forget about some of us US citizens so easily =)

I love that DVD so much!! I took it to Pittsburgh with me when I moved to my apartment the day before school started.

Seven more songs? That's nuts! SO not fair to the US! Everything ALWAYS goes to the UK. Video releases, some movie releases, album releases...I'm not happy, but since they put "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish", "Thank You for The Venom", "Give 'Em Hell Kid" and "...Prison"on the US version, I won't blow up. I love "..Venom".

Did they actually play seven more songs at the NJ concert? but seriously, the UK and the US speak the same language (although the UK use shortcuts on some phrases- I like "dunno"), so why should they make a different version?

But like I said, since they put "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish", "Thank You for The Venom" and "...Prison"on the US version, I'm not going to cry and whine.
