Hmm, haven't read the books yet... though I've watched the Eragon movie and, to be honest, it seemed kind of... not my cup of tea ^_^ But a friend has been telling me the books are really good, and I'm a voracious reader so I might be giving it a chance...

yeah the movie didnt follow the book at all, the books are always better than the movies.
