I'm Akane. I've always been 'sensible and responsible.' I was smart and a teacher's pet. Both qualities of what the popular girls call a 'nerd'. When I walk past, they call out, "Hey nerdy teacher's pet!" So I imagine a wall around me that keeps all of that out. But when someone overcomes that wall, I get hurt. Very hurt. I'm waiting. Waiting for a time when I have someone who really cares about me. And until that time comes, I will wait. Patiently...
