As a professional pianist, I've ended up playing for so many family/school/community events - that I hardly ever get to sit with my own family and just enjoy them. I've played for numerous family weddings, school concerts, church programs, etc. This weekend I'll be accompanying the HS choir at my son's graduation. Anyone else out there with similar experiences?

I defiantly know what you mean on that one. I don't have it so much with performing as much as i do with recording. People are always vying for a demo or EP, and even getting some of my own ideas down. I love it, but it sucks, ya' know?

The graduation went well - and luckily the choir sang right after the processional, so for the rest of the time I was able to sit with my family and enjoy! The worst thing was my husband said that he couldn't hear the piano at all where he was sitting - but I think he was just in an accoustic 'dead spot' in the auditorium.
