Here are a few websites that may help you in your quest to lose weight. I try to pick through links that are legitimate and worth your time. If you happen to know one to add, let me know.

Thank you for those websites! I briefed through all of them, although I haven't had the chance to detail them. But anyway... I'll be posting some more sites for ya'lls viewing pleasure 4laugh

http://www.stumptuous.com/weights.html This is my FAVORITE site. I truly recommend this one. It's a site made by a lady, for ladies. It's about weight lifting. I highly recommend weight lifting as an activity, especially for people who are sedentary. And this lady has a lot of attitude! You'll love her.

http://www.mercola.com/article/sugar/dangers_of_sugar.htm This one is for you sugar junkies wink You can print out the information here and paste it near a place where you're prone to think about or grab those sugary goodies.

http://www.skinnydaily.com/ This is a weight-loss blog of a woman. You may find it inspirational. There's lots of interesting perspectives and insights here. At her site, there's also a plethera of other websites dealing on weight loss.

http://www.fitday.com/ This is a free website that allows you to keep a weight loss diary. it's similar to livejournal. It's a very practical tool. check it out!

http://www.filmnmusic.net/weight/index.html This is a personal website about a girl's personal journey to weight loss. She has a series of before and after pictures.

http://www.betterbodz.com/exercise_main.html this website would be a nice tool. You click on the body part, and they give you exercises for that body part.

http://members.optusnet.com.au/vanviola/face.html This fascinating website deals with a rather undernoticed body part to exercise- the face! they have nifty face exercises.

those above websites were ones I stumbled across last year.

Next post I will make in here will include internet websites from my aerobics class taken last semester.

Here, my next post illuminates nifty websites that were recommended from my aerobics textbook from last semester. Please keep in mind that I haven't had the time to really dig into these places, so feel free to make a comment about these websites, and any other I posted.

http://www.netsweat.com/ It looks like a comprehensive website, but a bit commercialized.

http://www.fitnessonline.com/ Now this site looks like a gym...er... gem! wink Looks like this place has a lot of neat information.

http://www.stayinshape.com/ I'm not sure what this site's strengths are...

http://www.turnstep.com/ This looks like a website helpful for aerobics dance moves.

http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/

Here's another fascinating website about health, fitness, and weight loss. A friend has shown me this website the other day, so I haven't breezed through all of it. But from the forums I have checked out, it looks like the community has knowledgeable people.

If you check out any of these websites, please do comment on them! smile

edit: I have seen the original website before! It's about this site where this guy takes a picture of himself from the front and from his side EVERY SINGLE DAY for, like a long period of time like a year or so. Ya'll should see the pictures, they are amazing!

http://www.dietfacts.com/
It lists the nutritional info for all kinds of brand name foods, resteraunts, etc. Very helpful when you're counting calories and you ate out or bought something without nutritional info.

http://www.fitday.com

This website lets you create a free account and track your weight loss progress. It has a chart for height/weight ratio, a journal, meal plans that you enter yourself and a LOT more. It's pretty good.

Calorie Counter Database - Free Online Diet Program

Fantastic website - tells you the calories in food, what vitamins and minerals they have, as well as how much exercise you'd have to do to burn off a particular food. They also have forums and advice for weight loss and exercise.

www.shape.com

On the left hand side, they have different tools you can use. The most handy is a food diary that allows you to find the item you ate and they calculate the calories FOR YOU! Yay Easyness! They also have a BMI calculator, healthy recipes, amazing stories of others who've lost weight, exercises you can do, something to tell you if you get enough sleep, your perfect weight (they take into account your frame size!), and a whole lot of other things. This magazine has helped me alot with my motivation problems.

www.nutritiondata.com

This site has tons of nutritional information on produce and other things that you might buy in bulk and not receive a handy nutritional label with. Also handy if you're away from home and having to estimate the calories in something.
