argh, tooooo hard to choose between Naruto, Bleach and One Piece!!! But I haven't watched One Piece and Naruto for a while, and I'm watching Bleach right now, so...BLEACH!!!

I may have voted for Naruto, but mostly because it does not drag on as much as one piece, and isn't in its second unending filler series like Bleach. Animes that truly deserve to be near the top of people's lists are nowhere to be seen on this list. I fully enjoy these three animes, but if asked by a person new to anime what would be some of the best anime around, I would start elsewhere, because these are too long to try and watch in any length of time. It would frustrate and scare away all but the most dedicated, who are likely to do the searching on their own anyway. Some of my favorites would be Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, xxxHolic, DNAngel, Trinity Blood and many more. Another problem that arises is that I might like different anime for different reasons, making it very difficult to rate them in any meaningful way. Perhaps a better way to do this would be to ask what anime you think any enthusiast absolutely MUST watch.
