Well, yeah. Neither her mom played the cello. But oh well, that's what the movies are all about, pretty faces, even if they don't know how to do anything else. I guess we can't have it all at once.

Well, yeah. Neither her mom played the cello. But oh well, that's what the movies are all about, pretty faces, even if they don't know how to do anything else. I guess we can't have it all at once.

mainstream movies maybe but there's some really creative films out there. thats probably why i didn't see it, itr looked like some cheesy disney "believe in yourself" film thats marketed to 8 year olds and their creatively oblivious parents.

I thought it was cute. It wasn't fantastic or anything, but it was okay.

I found it a bit corny but still very enjoyable. Sure, it has some basic faults but for me, it was all about the wonderful power music has. Good movie! As far as the music, I was very surprised by Jonathan's performance and "Raise it up" is absolutely brilliant! biggrin

The ending kinda sucked for me, but.... IT'S WAS STILL SO CUTE, THAT IT DIDN'T MATTERRRRR!

it upset me that they didn't have the cello in the second half of the song on the album ontop of Break, in Bach/Break.

and Jonathan Rhys Meyers did a really nice job for being an actor.

oh.... but you could tell so much that Keri Russell wasn't playing the cello even though she took lessons for the movie.

AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I adored that movie so much! I bought it for my moms birthday just so that I could watch it whenever I wanted to..lol..I'm a horrible kid
