Central Military Academy, or CMA, is located in Central city about 15 miles from the Central Military base. The school is known for haveing high standerts and is not for the faint of heart. It is consitered the best Military Academy in the country despite the high drop out rate.

Military Training Classes

Basic training:
Every one must take basic once they enroll at the academy there are no excuses.
Basic consists of a series of drills. The drilling performs a psychological function, by inculcating the response to commands and training the recruit to act unhesitatingly in the face of real combat situations. It can also serve a role in leadership training. Once you finish basic you can ether choose to go on to Alchemic training or you may enter the military as a privet.

Alchemist training
Though it is possible to enter the military as an alchemist with out ever going to the academy you have a better chance of being excepted as a state alchemist if you have been through the alchemic training programs offered here at the academy.

The Study of Alchemy:
This class will have you doing most of your work out of a text book learning the basics, The class is 3 weeks long the goal of this class is to refresh your memory on what you should all ready know. If you pass you go on to General alchemy. Failing this class means your not ready to become a state alchemist you will earn a certificate of basic training from there you may ether take a 2 year study out side the academy and retake the class after your studies, or you can enter the military as normal military officer.

General Alchemy:
This class sharpens your skills and gets you ready for Combat Alchemy.
The class is 9 weeks long. If you pass you go on to combat training, if you don’t pass you have to take another 9 weeks of the class. If you can not pass after the second time you will not go on to combat alchemy and It's doubtful you will become a state alchemist.

Combat Alchemy:
This class is 9 weeks long, like basic the class consist of drill training. If you fail you cannot retake the class this class is to see if you have what it takes to be a state alchemist.

Looks: (Sorry no picture. D: ) Liana rather short; about five foot, two inches tall. Her skin is insanely pale, but porcelain-like. In contrast, her hair is long and black, with side swept bangs that fall just over her right eye (green eyes). She has high cheek bones and a strong jaw. And finally, she has a mysterious, large scar on the palm of her right hand that runs from between her thumb and index finger, down along the bottom of her hand.

Extra Info: Though it is unknown to others, she is from Drachma, the country to the north of Amestris. She ran away as a fifteen-year-old, and quickly because an Amestrinian citizen. She never speaks of her past because the military is unaware of her immigration. She's pretty much a loner and ignores the world for books and sleep. She likes alcohol a bit much, also.

Personality: despite his occasional bouts of immaturity, is a selfless, strong, independent person, a person of extreme stubbornness,He is able to think quickly, even in desperate situations, though can still be frightened into paralysis.Ed is very sensitive about his height, and overreacts to the slightest comment about it (including his own). He will occasionally break out into rants and outbursts, and isn't above physically attacking those who insult him, however innocent the antagonizer.He also displays a childish immaturity when it comes to things like needles and milk (he detests both). Classes were over for the day and most of the students were enjoying there down time, however Roy meanwhile was digging a trench in the courtyard for having the shirt of his uniform un-tucked. He had dug about five feet down and still had a few more feet to dig before he had to fill in the hole again.

The clunk of dirt hit Hughes straight in the face , almost knocking him to the side. He woke up and began rubbing his face, looking around. Setting his book down on the ground, Maes walked towards the whole where Roy had that inocent face . So Hughes kicked some of the dirt back into the whole. "You missed some over here."he said grinning. Dirt still stuck in his hair.

"You mean this spot right here?" Roy sank the spade into the ground and tossed the lode of dirt over his shoulder hitting Hughes in the chest and making a mess of his uniform. Meanwile one of the drill Sergeants came out to check on Roy's progress. "Attention!" Roy jumped a little hearing the Sergeant's voice and climbed out of the trench and stood up giving a salute.
He looked down at the trench then looked to Maes and noticed his dirty uniform. "Since you seem to like dirt so much Cadet you will be joining Mustang in digging the trench!" The man handed Hughes a spade and left.
As soon as the Sergeant left Roy burst out laughing.

Maes made a sound but as soon as he started trying to get te dirt off, he was at attention beside Roy. Listening to the drill sergent, his heart pounded then it hit hard when he heard he was to help Roy out with the trench. Hughes took the spade. Glaring at Roy the whole time and hopped into the trench, wishing he could get his friend back . He began to dig,ignoring the laughter.
