So I was talking with one of my friends today at school lunch. Since I'm a yaoi fangirl and she isn't (I AM NOT GOING TO CONVERT HER!!), we would sometimes talk about it.
Anyways, today, she brought up a really good question that even I got stumped on.

Let me say this again: I'm a yaoi fangirl. I can't help but smile or squeal when there's a boyxboy moment.

No, really, I think there are multiple reasons. First of all, it seems quite natural to be... interested in relationships between two people of the same sex. I mean a lot of guys love girl-on-girl porn etc. So if they think girl on girl is hot, isn't it completely natural for a girl to like man on man romance/porn?
Then there's the factor of gender roles...
