Abilities: Kaya is a skilled fighter, though she prefers not to get into any duels herself. She is also talented at playing the violin, has experience as a mediator and is a very convincing actor, which is why her identity as the “Blood soaked Princess” is still a mystery in most parts of the Digital World.
Equipment: Kaya carries a backpack with her on most of her ventures, just in case something happens. Her basic equipment is food, water and a small med. Kit. Other than that she carries around basic necessities like an IPod, hairbands etc. She always wears a beige belt pouch, in which she carries around knick-knacks and her Digivice.
Digivice and Crests: As Kaya never revived her own Digivice, she carries one that was stolen from a former digi-destined decades ago. It is a pink very scratched and battered D-3 with most of its colors faded by time. The device serves her well but does, at times, lose power in the middle of a digivolution – While this does not affect her older digimon´s who can evolve just fine on their own, it can interrupt her younger partners and halt their digivolution.
Her Original crest, which she found in the real world before she traveled to the Digital World for the first time, was the Crest of Love. She did, however, receive a second Crest after her death the "Dusk" crest. (Read more on that in the background info) Kaya has attached both crests to a silver necklace she wears at all times.
Appearance: Kaya appears a mild, beautiful young girl wearing a brown and white school uniform with a yellow ribbon at the front. She often wears ribbons and flowers in her hair.
She is always immaculate, and often underestimated by her opponents because she looks like “such a sweet girl”
Personality: Despite her affiliation with the Demon Lords Kaya is a very gentle, sensitive soul.She enjoys new experiences, is a tad naive and often much too quick to trust others.
She is unfailingly polite and kind, but also incredibly loyal to her Master. This does at times mean Kaya has been forced to perform deeds she considers horrible or even gruesome, but she trusts Master Lucemon to know what is best for the Digital world. .... ....
Biography:
Kaya´s loyalty to the Demon Lords was a fragile thing when she first arrived to the digital world, it was not a path she chose herself, but a necessary evil.
She and Metamormon had been travelling all over the Digital World for weeks when the Angelic council found her. They brought her to their castle, and prepared to give her, her true digimon partner. Kaya was ecstatic at the thought that she, like the Digi-destined children, belonged in the digital world, and was pleased that she and Metamormon could stay together. The Angels, however, did not see it the same way. Metamormon was a wanted villain. He had wrought destruction in both worlds and would be imprisoned for all eternity in the Shadow Dimension, where he could do no harm. Kaya was appalled and despite it hurting like nothing had ever done before, she escaped with Metamormon, leaving behind her true partner, a Digimon she would never meet, and The Crest of Light, which should have been hers.
No one knows for sure who Kaya´s true digimon was, or why the Angels were so desperate for her to receive it.
When Kaya was caught once more by the Angels after being betrayed by a boy she thought she could trust, they attempted to give her the Crest, but by now Kaya had such a powerful bond with Metamormon, that the crest would not glow for her, not while she was the human counterpart to a virus digimon.
Kaya was convicted by the Angelic Council to be evicted from the Digital World. All her memories of their world would be erased, and Metamormon destroyed in the hopes that they could re-introduce her to the Digital World and her true Digimon Partner.
Kaya spent several days in the castles tower, growing more and more desperate to escape. Finally, she befriended a young Marineangemon who helped her and Metamormon flee.
It was then that she met her future Master, Lucemon. The Demon Lord approached her with an offer: The Demon Lords would guarantee the protection of her and her digimon partners, as long as she served him. Kaya had no other choice, but to accept the devils deal.
Kaya lived as Lucemon´s “apprentice” for a while. She performed various acts of minor terrorism, stole other tamers digimon, and even managed to kill one of the royal knights, Alphamon, and steal his Digi-egg so she could raise him on the side of the Virus Digimon. Though she was now a Dark Tamer, she often performed small acts of rebellion – Saving Digimon´s she were supposed to slay, and helping tamers escape the Demon Lords plans. Things changed when Kaya was murdered.
Nagato and his friend, Richter, were novice trainers in the Digital World. They had fun, went on adventures, and defeated the bad guys like most tamers did. However things soon began to look much less regular. Nagato grew cynical and cold, and though they were both powerful in their own respects, Richter wasn't strong enough to stop him when he finally decided that the Digital World had to be cleansed of it´s weakness.
Nagato went on a rampage for quite some time in the digital world, clashing with the Core Guardians of old and other tamers until one day, he turned his gaze to The Demon Lords. Nagato had discovered that Lord Lucemon had split the boundaries between the real and digital worlds temporarily, in a bid to assassinate his parents. They were on the verge of completing a device that would manually open a bridge between the worlds, allowing not only tamers, but normal people to visit and even live in the Digital World.
The Demon Lords wanted nothing more than for them to remain separate, fearing the destruction humans would wreck on their world. Nagato went to Spiral Tower to fight the Demon Lord, but was intercepted by his newest servant, Kaya. who wanted to protect the only Digimon who could keep her safe from the Angels, and a Digimon who she had come to like, even if he was a megalomaniac.
It was a great Battle, but in the end, Nagato ended it all by ordering ChaosMetalSeadramon to fire an energy beam at the young girl while her own digimon partners were all engaged in battle elsewhere. Kaya barely even managed to scream before her skin burned and her flesh melted from her bones, leaving behind nothing but dust and specks of blood.
Killing a fellow human seemed to snap Nagato back from insanity, but by then, it was too late to do any good. Kaya´s digimon, then only a small group of three, mourned the loss of their tamer, grieving in silence.
Lucemon was not content with losing the one human he had come to care for, and several weeks after Kaya´s demise, he brought the young girl back to life using a combination of his own Code, and the power of Milleniummon.
It has, in a sense, made Kaya an immortal: While she can still be injured and even killed by normal means, she is trapped in the same body and can not age; A frozen visage of her 20 year old self from the moment before she was killed, and will stay thus, until the day Milleniummon and his power fades.
Kaya became Lord Lucemon´s most loyal and most trusted servant after her ressurection.
The source-code of the Demon lord run in her veins like unholy fire. They share a profound bond, one that forces the girls mind to bend to the Demon Lords will – What he wants, she wants. What he covets, so does she. It has made her a formidable Royal in Lucemon´s court, but also a horribly tragic figure in the history of the Digital World.
Though she is known as The Blood Soaked Princess for her deeds, some stories also name her “The Lost Child”
This has made Kaya somewhat of a wildcard in the Digital World: Digimon may fear her faction, but not the girl herself. She is even known to visit villages hit by natural disasters and help with the rebuilding, and fight other dark factions who have no link to her own.
Kaya no longer has a family to return to in the Real World. After her death, her parents and siblings were forced to forget they ever had a second daughter. It grieves her every day and is one of her most obvious sore spots.

First Encounter: Kaya´s first encounter with a Digimon happened during a vacation, when she and her family was renting a small cabin by a lake in Scotland. Metamormon had mere hours before battled a group of Digidestined and lost terribly. In his desperation to escape, the virus digimon fled to the real world. Kaya accidentally disturbed him where he was resting beneath the surface of the lake. Though scared and shocked when she first saw the massive “monster” appear Kaya soon began returning with food and medicine to help the wounded digimon heal. Despite himself, Metamormon found himself slowly growing to like the kind girl, and eventually when she and her family had to leave, he transformed into a smaller shape and left with her. When Metamormon was strong enough to open a portal to the digital world and go home, he offered to show Kaya his world. It was a decision he never once regretted making.
Extra Notes/Other: Kaya is the third and youngest child in her family. She has an older brother and sister, but both they and her parents no longer remember she exists. The Digital Council erased all evidence of the girl when she was killed in the Digital world, fearing her parents would attempt to find her, and discover the existence of Digimon.
Kaya´s will is bound to Lucemon´s through their shared “soul”, therefore, while Kaya herself can be reasoned with, and even be convinced her actions are wrong and immoral, she will obey her Master out of love and loyalty.
