Introduction

Shen Ku is not as much a religion as it is the way of things. It governs all we do or don't do. Its a way of fate and motion that transcends time and space. To quote Zeek Shen ku is "The first Intergalactic Art form of the entire universe. Devastatingly personally applicable in perpetuity, governing all conscious progress in any species anywhere, transcending the ultimate barriers of time and space."

"It is Simple enough for a child, too complex for a genius."

Preface

Shen Ku translates roughly into travel, dark visitor, secrete stranger, or phantom passenger. There is no direct translation of Shen ku into the english language. Shen Ku encompasses all activities in the universe and has the widest diversity of knowledge and skills, because its is not limited to a single religion, culture, life style or species. The first practitioners to find the way of Shen Ku and work with it on our planet came from Asia. Although Shen ku has been active in the universe for all of time. Many cultures and organisms add to Shen Ku every day knowing or oblivious to the effect they create. All consciousness great or small add to the wonder that is Shen Ku. A true definition of Shen Ku its truly impossible. According to Zeek in "The Art of Shen Ku" An exact definition of the Art is elusive, a state of mind, a spiritual elevation, a conditioning of the body or an evolving study of life, it is what you make it."

Symbols of Shen Ku

The Sail: Physics of Movement

Imagine a Sail on a ship. The wind does not blow but the sail still ruffles. The ship may not seem to move, but the waves rock the ship and it progresses ever to its destination. The Sail catches the wind and thrusts the ship forward. Motion is always present.

All things move from the universe to the sub atomic particles of an atom. All things, ideas and or notions proceed. Nothing in the entire universe remains still. So must you logically move forward. An object may be at rest, but it is still in motion, because rest is relative motion is not.

Ever onward as wind pushes, we sail the sea. Learning the path of the seaman with glee.

The 4 Bells: Direction of Destiny

Imagine 4 bells not quite touching. Ring one bell, and they all resonate. Future, present ahead of now, present behind now, past are the 4 bells.

Time, history and fate follow the same rules as the 4 bells. No single act can occur without resonating in all directions. There is no direct now for everything that happens now is determined by what occurred directly before and directly after it. There is causality to the universe even in the case of chaos. Even in chaos there is an act that must occur before and after. Even with chaos the chime rings through all time and space.

Chime the bell of present past, you will see the future through the ripples of present future impeding fast.

The Sword: Spirituality of Action

Imagine a sword sheathed in all its glory. A robber drops from a tree to kill the traveler whom carries the sword. In a flash of reaction the sword finds the end of its action and the robber drops bloody and lifeless to the ground. The sword is again returned to its sheath. The robber dead before his act ever committed and the traveler travels ever on.

For every force imposed there is an action or reaction by all neighboring forces. Every act has causes and consequences, and the world is forever changed and always was. A sword cuts through paper, it was your will that forces the hand to use the sword.

The single piece of paper no more your will asunder the paper tore.

The Beast: Mysticism of the Unknown

In your dreaming you see a glimmer of a beast, growling and stomping deep in a cave. The fear envelopes you as you imagine the possibilities of the Lurker deep within. Reverence overcomes you as you fear the mind's eye of the Beast. You awake in a cold sweat to find you were dreaming, but somehow you know that beast walks this world. Not only do you know you saw it, but it also saw you in return. Near you were to the beast, far you were from yourself.

There are things, entities, thoughts, emotions, concepts that you have no comprehension of. The nature of the beast is fear at the unknown. All fear is comprised of the unknown or misunderstood. A beast is a beast neither good not bad, it just is. The beast does what it does whether you fear it or not. Try to pet the beast and you may loose a hand. Try to embrace the beast and you may either loose the beast or yourself. Tame the beast and it is no more. Allow the beast to be. Gain what understanding you can and move along. Like the beast in the cave grasp the concept and leave it be.

Roaming the field I come upon a horrible sight. Big teeth 4 legs long ears iv never seen before. Gnawing the life from a orange root, gasp i take flight. Running till out of breath, safe from the horrible scene of the bunny I'll remember ever more.

Masters of Shen Ku travelers on the true path of existence.

Zeek, the Blind Traveler, author of the tome The Art of Shen Ku is an enigmatic traveler of the world and of life. He wrote this masterpiece after many years of travel and hardship. His experiences are mainly nautical as par his profession of sailor. He has studied many different topics from herbal medicine to self defense. He mainly speaks from a eastern theological back ground, but does have incite into western theology as well. He was last seen sailing off into the oceans of the south pacific. He has an excellent sense of humor.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, was a true visionary of the path. He maintained a path of nonviolence so that the reverberations through time and space could only be positive. He noticed the physics of movement and applied them to the civil revolution of India, Africa, and around the world. His will incited revolution across nations, possibly even planets or dimensions. He saw the beasts of the world for what they were and fought for the advancement of all human kind.

Kyuzo Mifune aka God of Judo, was an amazing practitioner of Judo. He saw and understood the principles of Shen Ku so well that he could manipulate people to his will by seeing the chain of events. He could practically read their minds from their first movements. He wrote many excellent texts on Judo and other philosophies that closely mirror Shen Ku text.

Plato, Greek philosopher, Author of The Republic and many other texts. While he wasn't an outright Shen Ku master his writings and philosophies directly reflect the principles and ideals of the Shen Ku path. Does humor have an opposite?

Jesus of Nazareth, was quite the follower of Shen Ku. Although he held many other beliefs, he spoke often of cause and effect, consequences of peoples actions, choosing your actions wisely and the mysteries of the unknown. He inspired the writing of some book called The New Testimate written by a bunch of his followers. He is still very popular today. He seems pretty funny from his stories.

Aleister Crowley
may not have studied the path, but he did follow it. If he knew he was following it then he probably would have claimed so. Crowley look to evolve the spirituality of himself as well as all humanity, to move it on to a logical path. He traveled to many places and studied many things to help transcend into ultimate enlightenment and pleasures.

Bunni, the White Rabbit, discovered Shen Ku early in life. Born with itchy feet and a evanescent household, became well versed in Shen Ku principles before he ever encountered the theories of Shen Ku. Currently a teacher of martial arts and a facilitator of travelers, Bunni passes on the way of Shen Ku to anyone who wants to see the way. Bunni was last seen typing crap on Gaia .

You could possibly be a Shen Ku master. If you see the truth of the words, and already travel the path of Shen Ku wich all things do. You may be a practitioner. To be a master you simply need to see the truth within, and then laugh at it.

Hmmm its been here over a year and no one is interested i guess. Shame, Shen Ku really helps with all religion if you sit down and really think about the philosophies entailed.

Really?

That's a rather presumptuous statement to make.

Could you illustrate an example for all religions?

Further, I don't see any mysticism or spirituality in any of the symbols or ideas that you posted.

Leaving the fact that I don't see how all actions affect what came before (how does picking my nose change my past, for instance?), and the fact that we aren't to "tame the beast" which is actually in opposition to a teaching of Jesus (thusly meaning I cannot practice Shen Ku because I do not follow the rules as you have set up), I really don't see where the spiritualism is. It's not even really the same sort of mindfulness that I have experienced in Buddhism, it just takes things as they work and then applies a "mysticism" to it.

Action, yes, actions happen, but what's so amazing about it? What's so important about action, or, really, any of the other things that you say Shen Ku is about, that makes them worthy of being called "mystical" or "spiritual?"

Could you illustrate an example for all religions?
The main problem I see is that it relies on the flawed premise that theologies stem from a common goal.

Or at the very least don't conflict with eachother.

Actually all religions do base from one stem. Thee need for humans to believe in something more than known reality. Regardless Shenku's origins are Taoist Buddhist and Hindu, but stripped of all its religious connotation and simplified to a theory of universal causality. There is no super mysticism. Its all conceptual. The symbols are just silly way some person came up with to give conceptual picture or model as to the working of the idea involved.

As for how can an action now change the past? Past is over. Its done. You never go back, but memories do make the past. An action now can change all remembered past. You pick your nose, someone sees you they think your gross, and tell you to use a Kleenex. They may think less of you and project that across all past memories of you, and change the way they confront you in the future.

How does it help all religions? Start off with a bit of humor. Follow up with some general ideas that can have profound meanings if you ponder them as a philosopher. Its not straight up counter to the other religions of the world, and more over its not what one would even call a religion so much as a way to notice the world.

We are all just travelers in the world, time and space. The journey is what you make of it. So be prepared and keep your eyes and mind open.

I know of a handful that don't.
Some are based upon revelation.
Some are based upon empiricism.
Some are orthopraxic.
These don't rely on belief.
Further- the drive for belief isn't universal.

I'm afraid your premise is flawed.

Part of the problem of this is that it doesn't help all religions. You've named a handful of religions you think could be improved, but it relies on your ignorance of other religious traditions to be held true.

Do you think it would be useful to readdress some of the blind spots in the system by acknowledging that the premises are incomplete?

ORLY?

Except for Empiricism, or LeVayen Satanism, or others I don't know of. And then there are those that dispense with belief entirely.

Ever think that such dressing down leaves no actual substance?

But that doesn't change the past, merely how you view it. The past is a series of events that occured previous to the present. I don't believe in a totally subjective reality, so no, you can't change the past.

But it doesn't help all religions. It only helps certain belief centered philosophical based religions, and not even all of those.
