i dont read the books but i do love the movies...but this last one i have some questions like who is the girl in the chariot where did she come from cuz it seems like we should know her and the elf looking girl from the order...maybe i should read...lol...but i heart harry potter

The elf girl with the funny colored hair? Whe actually has a lot bigger part in the later books (most likely the movies too). I believe her nickname is nymph? let me check..... (After reading half the book in a fit of childlike wonder) no, her name is nymphadora (wtf?) Tonks, better known as just Tonks. Don't know who you're talking about in the chariot.... you mean the evil one who broke out of azkaban? I think thats.... (Flips through a few more pages.... reading most of them...) Bellatrix? with the crazy, evil hair?

I loved Bellatrix she had style... I watch the movies and my friend wants me to read the books, I've read the first one and will get round to it eventually. The thing I hate is that even if the subject matter isn't childish, the NAMES are... Professor Lupin is a werewolf?!?!?! NO WAY! WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING WHEN LUPINE MEANS WOLF-LIKE?!?!?! LAME!!!
The subject matter and her writing is great but it's just so lame and kiddyish with those stupid names and magic phrases rolleyes We aren't five... Also, "muggles"? WTF! We're all human you separationists!
Neville Longbottom's pretty cute hehe!
My friend's tell me everything that happens in the books, somethings got me really disappointed in the writer... but I can't say much lest ruining it for people...

I liked the first few books, but then they kinda changed when they became super popular. She started making them really longand the middle few were just annoying. and there was that huge gap between the last two books, which i dont get.
Thats not to say i dont thik theyre good. just not my taste

Yeah, the first four books had this really good build-up to them, and the fourth, in my opinion, succeeded as the best, with a fairly sad ending that left you wondering. But, as it would be typically...the fifth book slurred, and the 6th book picked back up, with the 7th as a good conclusion, but the epilogue of 7 was really stupid, I thought...Really, I think The Goblet of Fire was the best the series had been.

Read 'em all & watched all the movies that came out so far.
I loved the ending though, one of the best endings I've ever read.

The movie basically summarizes each book but they do cut out a few things here & there for the sake of the movie.
