Well I have to make an abc report about China and it has to he interesting for little kids like 2nd graders. An example of the report is like C is for Chopsticks. Then i type up 2 sentences about the topic. I just need ideas for some topics that start with U, V, W, Y, and Z. I haven't found anything good for those topics and I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. sweatdrop

Nmm.
U - Underwear/Unbrella? Chinese traditional underwear is a red thingy that's like a big handkerchief that can cover your whole body, tied around your neck at the top corner. Some of them have the character 福 (fu) written on it , and that means good luck. The olden chinese umbrellas were made of paper.
V - Vixen. Yes I'm hopeless, but they believed that they had fox spirits that took the from of women in the past, and seduced men. which is written as 狐狸精(hu li jing) which translates into something like "female fox demon".
W - Wonton. It's a type of food, either prawn/shrimp or beef filling wrapped in a flour covering and either boiled or fried.
Y - Yangtze river? Translates to "yellow river", sometimes also called the 长江 (chang jiang) or "long river". It's the longest river in China, and Asia too.
Just my two cents worth as someone who comes from a chinese majority country =A=
