Rules & Requirements:
These rules apply to the MADG guild (the main forum and all sub forums) and MADG Chatterbox thread.
If you do not follow these rules, you will be removed from the guild. THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
Common Sense:
Do not beg. We're sorry you were hacked, scammed, and/or fail at making gold. You can ask for help in making your own gold but don't harass people or whine about it in the process. Asking for donations in any form is considered begging. If you want free gold, enter a contest.
Do not spam. This includes posting walls of images, stretching the screen, or bumping threads in the guild that don't allow it.
Don't use ridiculously large "post styles." That's what your signature is for. If you can't fit everything in your signature, do some organizing instead of cluttering every one of your posts.
Post in the proper sub forums. There aren't many but if you have a thread that belongs in a sub forum, please post it there instead of the main forum.
Be polite and mature. Do not insult or harass other members, just because someone might be dumb in your opinion, ask a question you don't think should be asked doesn't give you the right to torment them. Be helpful and point them where they need to be instead.
Do not harass the crew. Do not ask us for donations (free gold, items, art, graphics, etc), giveaway advantages, how the giveaway works, or other dumb questions. Everything is answered in the guild - LOOK!
Read all stickies. They are all important, please read them!
* Mules are still not allowed to join. No One user is to have multiple accounts within the guild. This creates an unfair advantage during contests. If a mule account is discovered, it will be removed. Yes, yes, we know that there is some conflict regarding the new vendor mule that is in the guild. Bangarang` is being used ONLY for vending and receiving/sending trades from/to the members. Bangarang` is where the guild's funds are to be kept so they aren't mixed in with the crew's. This has been discussed and OK'd by Norayr.
Advertise the guild and spread the word. Just don't make new threads specifically for the MADG outside of the Chatterbox and don't spam random people, asking them to join. Tell your friends but don't be a pest.
Follow the Gaia TOS. We shouldn't even need to tell you this, but if not, you will be reported.
Stop/don't specify what should be discussed in a thread. We don't want to see a list of suggestions of what should be discussed. If your reason for creating a thread doesn't spur up discussion, we don't need it.
Stop putting "lock this thread if you need to" in your posts. We don't need your permission to lock threads that we think should be locked.
Do not send blank trades. We accept all donations, just don't send a blank trade expecting us to donate to you that way. If you are going to send a trade, please read the donations thread.
THREAD NECROING IS NOT TOLERATED. PERIOD. There is a reason most threads die. They do not need your entries if this is such. If it's not tolerated in the main forums, it's not allowed here. Simple. As. That.
Giveaway Guidelines:
Don't whine. It's our giveaway, our rules. If you don't like how we're running it, you can politely provide constructive feedback in a PM to any of our moderators or via the feedback sub forum.
Members who have won a total of 500,000 gold have met their limit of the total amount of gold they can win. This ensures that everyone has a chance at winning gold. In the past the same people were winning over and over, as fair as the circumstances were we felt it was necessary to set a specific amount total so other people were given the opportunity to win.
Rule suspended until we gain much more funds, which will be quite awhile.
Members can win up to 2 contests a month, after that point you will not be eligible to win till the following month. Meaning should you win a contest on the 15th of the month you will not be eligible to win again until the 1st of the following month. This also ensures that everyone has a chance at winning some gold.

To be eligible for winning gold you need to have been a member of Gaia for at least 2 weeks and have 100 post outside of the guild as well as 15 within the guild. This ensures that you are a active guild member both within and outside of Gaia.
No bullying of any kind will be tolerated. Bullying is the term used for forcing someone to give you a share of the gold prize when winning a contest/being chosen, as a result of a user referring you to the guild. If anyone is caught bullying, the gold prize will be null and void if possible, and the bully will be banned from the guild.

We don't mind intelligent, legitimate questions or constructive feedback. Please lay it on us. But use your good judgement before sending us a PM. It could mean your only shot at winning gold.
