TeaDidikai Fan+asmagoric My friend goes to Witchcamp every summer. She loves it. I don't consider myself a "witch" but I want to go, it sounds awesome! Is that hosted by the Spiral Scouts? I wonder how close it is to what the A.R.E. offered.
Witchcamp is not a children's camp. Although, children are allowed to come.
Quote: We welcome all genders, all races, all ages and sexual orientations and all those differences of life situation, background, and ability that increase our diversity.
Quoted from ... BC Witchcamp
I think many states in the US also have Witchcamps. I know California and Washington State both do.

Dragon_Witch_Woman Dragon>> Did you ever check their lineage? I'm not entirely sure how to do that. xd Ask them. Unlike Wicca- it isn't oathbound.
Fan+asmagoric My friend was afraid of that at first. She's definately no hippy... But, she always has a good time. I think I would look out of place as well. Pagans are 70% Bananas! 4laugh
Naw- but really, I go to one "pagan" festival a year, and it's because I'm friends with the people who run it so I feel safe.

lol Indeed Bananas!
I think it's good to make an effort to get out and meet other Pagans, seeing how we're a minority. If I have to meet hippies in the process, awesome. biggrin
