Did you ever heard of this Italian fantasy author?
She published two very good fantasy trilogies:
Le cronache del mondo emerso (The chronicles of the energed world) and Le guerre del mondo emerso (The wars of the energed world)
The last book of the second trilogy was published just recently in Italy.
Did you ever heard of her?
I really think that you should read them if they have been translated in your language.

I can't find any informations on foreign publications.
The story is about a young girl,Nihal,whose village is destroyed by the "Tyrant",who is trying to conquer the whole world.Nihal is not a normal girl: she has blue hairs and elven ears,and a great ability with the sword.
Nihal escapes and stays with her aunt,a wizard,and her disciple,Sennar.
Toghether they have to move and they join the resitance force...
Ok,my summary is very bad,the book is really better.

This is the cover of the first book.
I know they translated it in German keeping a similar cover,so maybe they are going to translate it even in English keeping the same cover.

She has recently finished a second trilogy based on that world,that seems to be even better than the first one.
