a guitar company called "grayson" need help!

hey, how's it goin.
I went into a guitar shop the other day to look for my first own guitar.
I was overwhelmed at the time.

checked a few out. etc etc...

went home, did some research.

I did some research on gibson les pauls. and it's sister company epiphone, and also check out their les pauls.

now I remember seeing a les paul at this guitar shop.
but it was by a company called "grayson"

so I hopped on to their site, and turns on EVERY single guitar in the shop is a grayson.

I looked around, and I can't find this company anywhere

what I want to know is:
is it safe to buy a guitar from there?
is this grayson les paul as good as an epiphone les paul?

I remember reading another company tried making a knock off of the les paul, and got sued.

I planned on getting an acoustic guitar from this shop.
but now i'm not too sure

i dunno, it's probably some s**t quality. i'd save up for a gibson if you're already serious about playing but thats just me.

hmmm. . . you'd be safe with Epiphone for sure 'cause they're part of the Gibson Family and have always been a quality company. as far as the Grayson, I'm personally a little leery of off-brands with no background. with the exception of Harmony, Silvertone, and Danelectro not many of the inexpensive brands have stood the test of time.

i totally agree with space_monkee, it's safer to go with epiphone. and i can promise you that the epiphone les paul is alright, i got one myself. razz
