I was about to scream Cleric, thinking this was only for F/P and I/L.
Honestly though, I would say Cleric, but that is my preference.
I like healing myself using MP instead of pots which cost Mesos.
I have tried my wifes F/P, and well...its ok. It's practically the same as anything else to me. Rather boring, but she only has the Fire Attack, and Magic Claw. But then again, I don't think the Poison skill is any fun either.
I/L, I haven't tried, though, I could probably play my friends. I love as an element, Lightning, in every game, so I/L is a good choice for me. The Lightning skill hits mob enemies, which is nice, but I don't think it sustains sufficient damage until a higher level of the skill. As for the Ice, the Ice skill can freeze some enemies, which is always helpful...especially for a Bandit who attacks close up. No enemies running into your party members. ~_~
Clerics...everyone loves them. Everyone wants one in their party. Especially PQ. Clerics are nice, but rather boring, as most tend to work on Heal as their first skill. So yeah, you use Magic Claw for a long time. Healing yourself is a plus, as you don't need to waste money on potions. The support/buff skills a Cleric can learn are also a plus, though I don't really interest myself in such skills. Invincible decreases the WEAPON Damage you receive, which is nice. Bless increases WEP and MAG Def, which is nice also. :] The only Attack Skill (besides Heal on undead) is Holy Arrow, which is also nice on Undead monsters, but I don't know how great the skill really is. I think most builds tend to have it at a lower level compared to other things. If anything, I'm sure its probably similar to Fire Arrow of a F/P, so you can't imagine it to be anything special or fun.
My Choice: I/L or Cleric. I/L to mob monsters. Cleric for the support skills and healing ability.

I think Cleric might bored me for a while. I going to pick L/I or F/P
