Vegan Tips, please?

I've been vegetarian for 3 years, and I'm thinking about going gradually vegan. However, my parents are concerned for my health, and aren't too open to the idea.

I would appreciate new vegan recipes (I got some from PETA), and maybe some positive points about being vegan I could bring up with my parents.
