What programs do you use to make amvs? Right now, I use Windows Movie Maker, but I plan on getting Sony Vegas Pro 8. Also, are there any programs you recommend?

I use Adobe Premiere Elements 2. It works pretty good, but if you don't mind spending a good deal of cash, get Avid. That's what most of the film companies use to edit movies. My college uses Avid in their video editing suites, it's really aweswome if you want some of the best effects.

I use virtual Dub to extract the scenes i want to use and them put it all together with Cyber Link Power Director. I used to use Pinnacle before but i was to lazy to instal it ^^;
One of my friends has the Sony Vegas system, and I am extremely jealous os her super-awesome AMVs. xd But I use Windows Movie Maker. And my AMVs are okay. However, if you want to be the envy of Youtube, I totally reccomend the Sony Vegas. It's a little confusing, but it is so cool.
