So, I'm not good at Maple Story, and I was wondering if someone could help me, with a good class to start with, Non-Funded, of course.

I like bandits and thieves in general, but I've never passed level 15 on any class, and this was the first class I tried, so it seems like bad luck.

I like mages, and their general idea, but I was never much good at them, and they're really expensive. Cleric for me, if any mage class.

Warriors : Some people love them. I don't, generally. Spearman have always appealed to me but brute classes were never something I liked.

Archers are a deep burning hatred for me. I've always been KS'd by them, and I never wanted to make one, besides I don't like their clothes. Stupid Deer-pelts.

Someone tell me what a good class is to start with, and if they can, help me through it's job path. I have a hard time learning something new VIA a written guide, because it's just not the same as having someone there to help you through it.
Remember, I'm not very good.

Its all preference really.

I'm in love with my Bandit.

Its fun, far more fun then any sin I've seen.

More fun then the hermit I've even played.

Mages, Cleric you say? I like Clerics, thus I made my own.

I haven't gotten past 33 or whatever level I am though, as I don't play Maple much, nor my Cleric when I play.

I've tried warriors, time after time. I just cant take it.

Of course, Spearman originally appealed to me, just as you, but when you look around, its kinda lame when all you see are spearman and fighters.

Thus, I prefer the useless Page now.

No party skills, no one wants them, yet White Knights have pretty skills.

Of course, no one wants a WK, but I love em.

Theyre unique, in a sense.

Archers...No.

I tried like, once.

I can't stand them.

Mainly because I'm not a range kinda person, and if I was, I'd want speed, thus being an assassin, even though Archers are far cooler then an assassin can ever hope to be.

Deer-pelts, lol.

Well, you and me both agree on the same thing, so go Bandit or Cleric.

Preferably, I would say Bandit.

People won't beg you for haste as much as someone would for heal.

Of course, as a Cleric you're bound to get into parties for PQs with ease, as people love Clerics for heal...

Think of it this way:

If you want to be a parties b***h, and constantly healing them, unless you follow a solo cleric build, go Cleric.

If you want to play something that I, and many others believe to be fun, go Bandit.

Theyre fast, fun, fast...fun...

Theyre just awesome, even though the sudden uprising of them is annoying.

Back then it was like a billion assassins to ten thousand bandits for example.

Now Bandits are rampant everywhere.

Sad sad.

My favorite classes are Priests, Hermits and Snipers.
I think xbowmen are pretty fun o_O
Sins are fun too but it can get a bit repetitive.
Clerics are alright. I like it better when you're a priest and in a big party though.
