sorry for the slightly fuzzy pictures, (and the really blurred 1st one) but this was taken with my 2.0 megapixel camera from my phone with the macro setting ON. its the best my phone can do, hopefully everyone finds the 2nd and 3rd photos clear enough though

Fun fact: a box of sniper scouts cost as much as a box of normal scouts. They both cost £12,-

I converted a sniper rifle marine once for a pre horus heresy thing once. And bolters do work. However i recomend 2nd ed bolters, regardless of the type of bolter though, you should make these changes:
Add a scope, you can get those out of basic marine sprues. Add a stock, whether its plasticard, greenstuff, or the stock off of a plasmagun (my personal choice) it gives it that rifle feel.
Also, to make a barrel, rather than taking a kroot barrel, I just used a q-tip stick, and took a coffee stirrer to make the larger part of the barrel (or flash suppressor whatever) at the end, and added the sight off the end of the barrel onto the new barrel.
If it sounds complicated, it really isnt.

Brookman: really? i thought they cost more than normal snipers, well thanks then, i should change the thread title to "::Linky's not cheaper than normal snipers, but easy snipers::"
Kento: sounds easy, and i have now added scopes to them before reading your message, but i never thought to use a plasma stock, thanks!
