Hey Roxy. I have a flood of thoughts on this topic. Mostly, I want to see a world where the word feminist does not evoke a negative response for people. Feminism is the orientation that women are equal to men.

How could anyone deny being a feminist? Every human being has at least one woman in their past-the one who made them.

I work in a place where women do collaborate rather than compete. We celebrate each other's successes. Although we do not always like each other, we have an underlying tenet of mutual respect.

This makes an incredible amount of difference.

Could we all take the opportunity IRL, when we encounter one another, not respond to hostility with hostility. Can we be the change we want to see in the world? After all, that gal with the chip on her shoulder who thinks she knows what you're going to say...we've all been her at one time or another, been through the same stuff, totally know where she's coming from and know she needs our kindness.

I too am 12 years old,
and I have not started my
"monthly thing" yet, but
I heard it's annoying and
painful! That is what I
regret about being a girl.
Even though it has not

Well, I am obviously a girl! But I hate being a girly girl!
It just gets annoying to me! And, I am a little tomboyish!
I hate skirts. I'm not a big fan of flip flops! I never leave
my hair down! I always leave it in a pony tail! That's pretty
