I'm making one.
Here are a couple of song lyrics I've written for my band, Pangloss:
Effluvium
As a child leaves the womb
Another leaves this life
And when your light hits the moon
The sun is crucified
Along with me
Your crimson lips whisper in my ear
Like shadows to the eye
Your own saphires entrance you
Into thinking you are blind
But who isn't?
I see it in your fingers
I smell it on your breath
I hear it on the cold wind
Those are all that's left
I'm gone
Insomnia
Silence fills the darkened night
The sun is long retired
Slumber from it's godly height
Beckons into fire
The waking world has you bound
So awake you'll stay
Why even if it's sleep you've found
Watch it burn away
Pencil scratches paper face
A soft but daring sound
Dreams will migrate to a place
Where they won't be found
Sit up as the clock starts chiming
Might even risk a look
Soon the sun will be climbing
Paper turns to book
Drowsily recall a time when
You had your stories told
You relied on another's pen
To warm you from the cold
Eyes become bloodshot and sore
All that you have earned
Hear their footsteps outside the door?
Your nightmares have returned
Wish for all you want
It doesn't mean you get it
Net and trap and cage
Doesn't mean you catch it
Toss and turn and tumble
It won't do you no good
Isolation's closing in
Now drown like you should
This I ask your mind to bare
You hone the lock and chain
You reach for what you know is there
And sleep escapes again
Phantom Limb

Madder by the hour
Enveloped in our
Amassed devices
We pay high prices
And play with chagrin
To keep all our limbs
You think no one sees your face
Waving your crooked masks around
But I know your putrid taste
I can sniff you out like a hound
You're haunting me like a ghost
I'm afraid but will not hide
So what worries me the most
The part that still cowers inside
You're so insecure
I can't help but fear
On the day you die

You are many-faced
Your mind is encased
In your arrogance
Could I catch your glance?

Nothing like we were
That warmest winter
When record snow fell
